Patricia Scornavacca

Owner / Founder Chief Executive Officer

Since 1997, as a behaviorist, in the field of Autism and Special Needs, Patricia is still continuing her education in the field. She loves working in an environment where she makes a difference in the “quality of life” for the people she serves. Her dedication is to the whole family, not just the child.

She served the community as an EMT for 12 years, 10 years in the town of Paramus. She taught CPR, AED, and First Aid as an instructor at the Bergen County EMS Training Center for over 25 years, as well as being a lifeguard. She has many other civic, state awards & many other certifications.

She was a psychology major seeking a degree in grief counseling with a minor in religion. But after the tragic deaths of her two nephews with Autism, and having special needs children of her own, she decided to dedicate her life to this population.

She is a proud parent of 7 children and a very proud grandparent to their children. She never stops working to make life better for them and her clients/patients and will take the time out of her busy day to talk to a parent in need!

Pattie (as she likes to be called) is also trained and/or certified in CDA, Verbal behavior, Sign Language, Procedural Safeguards, Incident Command, Handle With Care, Behavior Management System IFSP, Speech Therapy In-Service, feeding and swallowing, Early Intervention, ABA/DI, OT Strategies In-Service, Professional Development Documentation, School Advocacy, Behavioral Treatment as well as an Advocate/non attorney.

Tara Keenan

Chief Financial and Operating Officer

Tara has been with Heart to Heart & Associates, LLC since 2000 and has worked her way to “CFO”. She is a trained ABA Therapist and worked in the public school system for many years.

Tara is our “Chief Financial Officer” as well as a sub for our in-house ABA clinic.

Michelle Lolk

Efficiency Officer/Medical Billing
Management Team

Michelle has been here at Heart to Heart since 2014 and is our Billing Specialist as well as our liaison to the insurance companies. She is bilingual and interprets for us here at Heart to Heart.

Julia Mandelbaum, BCBA

Clinical Director
Management Team

Julia has been at Heart to Heart & Associates since 2016 and started her career in ABA working as a therapist in home programs as well as an instructional aide in a public-school classroom.

For five years she was a classroom trainer in a private school. Currently, she is the Clinical Director where she oversees all programs, provides consultation, conducts parent training, and provides BCBA supervision as well as staff training.

Mona Perrone

Aquatics Director

Mona has been with Heart to Heart since 2006! She has worn many hats over the years here and has always been an asset in every position. She has helped create many of the programs here.

Mona has a B.S in management, is a certified lifeguard and has CPR & first aid.

Lisa has been at Heart to Heart & Associates since 2013 and got into the field of Autism when her son was diagnosed with ASD in 2008.

Lisa has a professional background in Marketing which has been such an asset to us at Heart to Heart.

Lisa is also trained in: CPR, Handle with Care, and is one of our Advocates.

After I unintentionally got her fired from her previous job I realized that her tenacity and moral compass was exactly what I needed to assist me in Heart To Heart’s growth from a few employees to the vision I had of a large clinic/agency! When others ran for the hills thinking my vision was unobtainable Lisa stayed. Every successful CEO has support! If a CEO tells you they did this all by themselves they are lying!”
