At Heart to Heart, we believe every child is unique, and their care should be too. We are a collaborative, multidisciplinary practice dedicated to helping children grow, build confidence, develop meaningful skills, and reach their fullest potential.
Since 1997, Heart to Heart has been committed to supporting children with autism and other developmental needs and the families who love them. What began with a deeply personal understanding of the challenges families face has grown into a comprehensive center where children can receive individualized care in a supportive, nurturing environment.
Today, our team brings together experienced Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), Behavior Technicians, Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and other professionals who collaborate to support the whole child. Our services include center- and home-based ABA therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, social skills programs, after-school programming, and specialized camps and groups.
Our ABA programs are individualized to each child and developed using evidence-based principles and strategies. Rather than defining a child by a diagnosis, we focus on understanding who they are—their strengths, challenges, interests, and individual goals—and building a program around their needs.
We also believe that meaningful progress happens through partnership. Our team works closely with parents, caregivers, and one another to create consistency across therapy, home, school, and everyday life.

Heart to Heart was founded by Patricia Scornavacca in 1997. Patricia not only has a professional background in special education, but she is also a mom of children with special needs. As a result of her experience, the services that Heart to Heart provides your child have been designed by someone who understands your needs, hopes, and frustrations. It’s because she and her management team have been in your shoes that your child’s services and support are priority number one! It takes a village to raise a child, especially one with special needs.
Our incredibly compassionate team of BCBAs possess over 25 years of experience in the field. They create programs individualized to your child using scientific, research-based methods and strategies to treat autism spectrum disorder ASD.
At Heart to Heart, we provide each family with the attention they deserve. Our BCBAs walk you through the entire process from the initial assessment, and authorization approval to the overseeing of the therapy in your home. We provide you with a team of therapists committed to working with your child with programs that are custom tailored to meet the needs of your family. These programs are individualized to your child’s personal needs using scientific, research-based methods and strategies to treat autism spectrum disorder ASD and other behaviors associated with other developmental disabilities.
Through parent training, we teach you how to become a part of your child’s success by identifying your own personal strengths, reinforcing good behavior, and eliminating negative behavior that can interfere with progress. We include the entire family from stepparents, siblings, to grandparents, aunts and uncles if needed! Your child’s home programming will be unique to your family dynamics.
